Resources for Persons with Hearing Impairments
- Assistive listening is available in the library's meeting rooms via induction loop that supports hearing aids with a T-coil mode.
- Stream closed-captioned movies from Kanopy
- Use the Illinois Relay Service, dial 7-1-1. Find out more about this free service through the Illinois Telecommunications Access Corporation website.
Resources for Persons with Dementia or Needing Memory Care Support
- The Memory Care Center has materials to support caregivers and items to engage directly with those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.
- Our monthly in-library Memory Café offers individuals with memory loss and their caregiver an opportunity for connection and conversation. Held on the 2nd Thursday of each month. Register online or drop-in.
